Below you’ll find a few important server settings that differentiate us from other servers you may have played on – increasing difficulty and enhancing PvE gameplay.

  • New Map – Heralds of Strife Mod
  • PvE only
  • Purges will occur frequently and are set to max difficulty
  • Max Level Purges occur everywhere (you won’t be safe in newb area!)
  • NPC’s (including thralls) do increased damage
  • RP is encouraged, but not required
  • Have up to 3 followers at once that share XP
  • Professions and Classes
  • Harvest & General Exp x3
  • Combat Exp x5
  • Max Clan Size 10

Rules

By playing on the PurgeLands server you automatically agree to follow the rules outlined below.  Any breach of our guidelines will be subject to consequences deemed appropriate by the admin team.  Please read and follow all rules!

PurgeLands Rules

  • No foundations! This improves server stability and performance. Use the pillar/ceiling/fence tricks.
  • No building near POIs, NPC camps or rare resource spawns (if the spawns become blocked).
  • No offensive character or clan names, griefing, spamming, harassment, racist remarks or any other behavior we deem inappropriate.  We're a family-friendly server!
  • Create or Join a clan by level 20.
  • Post a sign outside your base with your clan name and date.
  • If you're gone for more than 2 weeks let us know in discord #vacation.
  • You must join our discord and your name must match your in-game name.
  • Building size limits must be within a 35x35x20 grid.  We use the farthest, highest and lowest points to measure (even if you have a tall lookout tower, it counts toward your height).  This includes fishing stands, crab traps, etc. - they must be within your base limits.
  • Limit 1 of the following: animal pen, religious shrine for each religion, lumber mill, map room, construction platform, horse stable, mine and water wheel and must be within your 35x35.
  • The grids F2, F3, G2, G3, H2, H3 are reserved for players under level 40. The base size in this area is restricted to 20x20 - once reaching level 40, you must move out of these areas. 
  • 50 combat thralls, pets and mounts may be placed by a player - this increases by 10 for each additional member of your clan.
  • No ease of access elevators or stairs that are not contained within your 35x35: no staircases down canyons, no elevators into the sinkhole.
  • Player characters will be deleted after 30 days offline.
  • All characters under level 20 will be deleted if offline for more than 7 days.
  • Fish stands OR any combination of fish traps, shellfish traps and crab traps are not limited but remember to use within reason. 
  • Only knock thralls you need. Please kill any extra unconscious thralls before dragging back to your wheel.
  • No Ninja looting! When you enter a dungeon or camp always check if anyone is already working through it.
